Provenance and Sources
The original image was 30x20 in., done in pen and ink on foamboard, created ca. 1977. It was sold to a friend who subsequently died, and the original was lost.
The current image was produced via Adobe Photoshop from a 5x3 professionally done photograph of the original taken shortly after it was completed.
The piece was inspired by two sources well known to the artist at the time, shown below. The imagery came from the artist’s dreams of rooms, basements, attics, furnaces, galleries, landscape and sky.
